Who Is Patrick Hadley

Business, leadership, and being part of a great team.

Patrick Hadley grew up outside of Boston, MA, and graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His first jobs after college were in sales and marketing for Unilever and then Becton Dickinson.

In 1993, he started his first company publishing a college entertainment magazine in New York City. During this time, he also worked as the Stewarding Manager for one year as part of the grand opening team at the Four Seasons Hotel NYC.

UniverCity Magazine interviewed celebrities and bands from Madonna to Brad Pitt. Advertisers included major brands and movie studios. The magazine expanded to multiple markets and eventually was acquired.

Patrick’s next business was Hadley Media, an experiential marketing, events & media agency. Hadley Media created and produced experiential marketing services, stunts, and live events for television studios and major brands including FOX Broadcasting, FX, NETFLIX, Marvel, WB, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, NBC Universal, Nickelodeon, Levi’s, TBS, Nestle, and many more.

Hadley Media produced events in every major U.S. city and internationally in London, Paris, Berlin, Rio, Mexico City, Toronto, Montreal, and Sydney. You can watch some of our fun project videos here. Hadley Media has won many industry awards including AdWeek’s “Best In Show”, and “Best Use of Technology In Events”, and Patrick was named one of “The 12 Most Important People in Design Right Now” by San Diego Magazine.

Patrick has produced three films, the first was The Other Side Of The Tracks, which was distributed domestically on cable by Showtime Networks and worldwide via 20th Century Fox Television International.

As a long-time wrestler and big fan of the sport, Hadley produced a passion project called, Four For Four, the Kyle Dake Story, a documentary about the Cornell Wrestler and the only person to win four NCAA Championships at four different weight classes, in four years.

The third film is called Finding Center, a documentary about a family dealing with Autism.

Patrick has volunteered with numerous organizations and as a youth sports coach including four years at a competitive soccer club in Southern California serving underprivileged athletes who get the opportunity to compete with major soccer clubs throughout California. He served on the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce in San Marcos, CA, and is a member of the Forbes Agency Council.

Patrick was nominated and chosen to participate in the US Navy ‘Leaders To Sea’ program for his community leadership in business and volunteering. In addition to spending the weekend in the Pacific Ocean, he had the unique experience of landing on and catapulting off of the USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier.

Patrick Hadley consults with clients and is always happy to help other entrepreneurs and businesses with anything from leadership, marketing, project management, creative direction, PR, SEO or day-to-day operations, etc. He recently started working on an entrepreneur course to share some of his experiences with other entrepreneurs.
